Born in Michigan but, based in Scotland for the last two decades, I began offering professional genetic genealogy consultation specialising in unknown parentage / adoption cases in 2015; the first research service of its kind to be offered by an adoptee of the "closed record era". I have since helped over 200 clients solve their unknown parentage mysteries.

Qualifications & Research Interests:

• 2018 - PGDip in Genealogical, Palaeographic & Heraldic Studies from the University of Strathclyde - Glasgow.
• Member of Orkney Family History Society & Caithness Family History Society.
• Special interest in genealogy and social history of Caithness in the far north of Scotland.
• Special interest in researching "genealogical synchronicity", particularly that of adoptees and others who were raised without knowledge of their ancestral roots.
